 2024 Security Camera Annual Warranty Coverage Plan

I. Introduction


This Security Camera Annual Warranty Plan ("Warranty Plan") is designed to provide peace of mind and assurance to the customers of ("South Florida Security Cameras") regarding the performance and reliability of the security cameras purchased from the Company. The Warranty Plan outlines the terms and conditions under which the security camera products are covered.


II. Coverage Period

The Security Camera Annual Warranty Plan is valid for a period of [1] year from the date of purchase,


III. Covered Items


The Warranty Plan covers the following components of the security camera system:


  1. Camera Units: All individual security camera units included in the purchase.
  2. DVR/NVR Units: The Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or Network Video Recorder (NVR) included in the purchase including hard drive.
  3. Cables and Connectors: All cables and connectors provided as part of the security camera system.


IV. Covered Issues


The Warranty Plan covers defects and malfunctions resulting from:


  1. Manufacturing Defects: Faults in materials or workmanship.
  2. Normal Use: Issues arising from normal use in accordance with the product's documentation.
  3. Networking: New cell phone or laptop connections
  4. Power outages/ Storms surges: dvr, nvr, hard drive, cameras, power supplies.


V. Exclusions


The Warranty Plan does not cover:


  1. Misuse or Negligence: Any damage caused by misuse, negligence. Roof work damages.
  2. Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations or modifications not authorized by the Company.


VI. Claim Process


  1. Notification: In the event of a covered issue, the customer must notify the Company within 7 days of discovering the issue via call, text or email. 
  2. Documentation: The customer must provide proof of purchase via invoice number and any other documentation requested by the Company.
  3. Evaluation: The Company will evaluate the claim and determine whether the issue is covered under the Warranty Plan.
  4. Resolution: The Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component.

VII. Customer Responsibilities


Customers are responsible for:


  • Regular Maintenance: Checking the system once a month to make sure it is recording.

VIII. Transferability


The Warranty Plan is transferable to subsequent owners of the security camera system, provided the transfer is communicated to the Company within [Number of Days] days of the ownership transfer.


IX. Disclaimer

The Warranty Plan is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by the Company and supersedes any other warranties, expressed or implied.
